Anne Marieke Doornweerd is working on a project on how the use of oral contraceptives can impact emotion regulation and brain functioning

In collaboration with mental health institute Altrecht we study whether cognitive flexibility affects prognosis and severity of complaints in patients with eating disorders and patients with somatic symptom disorder.

In collaboration with the University Medical Center in Utrecht we are setting up a study on psychological well-being in patients who visit the department of Gynecology. We are particularly interested in patients with (early) peri-menopause, hysterectomy and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder

Kim Hijne is investigating which psychological factors predict treatment outcome in patients with somatic symptom and related disorders. This is done together with professor Rinie Geenen and Dr. Jonna van Eck-van der Sluijs at Altrecht

Together with Emma Twait , postdoc at Univerisity Medical Center Amsterdam we study the sex-specific consequences of depression on neurodegeneration and dementia
